No. Ultraviolet (UV) light has been shown to be damaging to the eyes and skin. Red light is deeply healing to your body’s cells.

Treatments are 10 minutes. Studies show that the lengthening treatment times beyond 10 minutes does not increase efficacy.

The more regularly you use red light therapy, the better the results will be. For acute injuries and general wellness: 2 to 3 times a week; for chronic conditions, including arthritis and skin conditions, 3-5 times a week for up to 4 months to get symptoms under control is advisable. Then you can move to a maintainence schedule.

You may disrobe to you comfort level, being mindful that the light cannot penetrate clothing. Eye protection is provided must be worn during the session. There is no metal allowed in the red light bed, including jewelry and bras with metal clasps.
